I used to be agnostic, but now I'm not too sure
Why are we fighting in this religious war
When no one knows truly what we face beyond this life
our reality is in our heads its not outside our minds
Who Am I to tell you that you've never spoke to god
And who are you to tell me that our death is bleak and dark
and why do atheists go on telling you that you're wrong
If they really didn't care they'd leave the house and just log off
Coz I've had it up to here with people telling what to think
If you'd really hit rock bottom you'd pray to god before the drink
Every mans born equal every woman born the same
our corrupt society tells us how we should behave
Evolution got it wrong we are not monkeys we are dogs
in the caveman days we didn't drop our logs in the bogs
we would burn them and drink from them we'd be happy in our caves
take any all the materials and its pretty much the same
It's so easy to forget we have the freedom of choice
turn off all your influences and listen to your voice
you're a slave to your TV, your computer and your job
Just like i am to.........................................................
at least music and sex is what we're here for
Attenborough said there's no need for language at all
Back in the day people sang before they spoke,
do you realize that the bible was written for a joke
but I don't think you're aware of the irony of it all
it's the writers not the readers that have you all fooled
The followers are the ones you've gotta be careful of
they think paedophilia is ok if you read the word of god
Jesus died for his sins so it's ok to make you hurt
as long as you are dressed properly for church
they tell you in that situation you're not allowed to swear
Pretending when not worshipping very really really care
you interpret religious text in any way you want
The word of god is under your bed leg to keep it up
As I said earlier we all have our own free will
we make up our own minds we decide who we can kill
we have the power to overthrow kings
not the ones in the palace the ones who practice banking
who needs millions of pounds and happily ignore the poor
they can pay off the judges of the secret court
Need their flash car for their identity
yet they're the ones who should be locked up for insanity
for them all I feel is nothing but apathy
underneath the suit and tie lies a soul less tragedy
to get by in this life you have to get your degree
and make sure you are married by the ripe old age of 30
have 2 kids or if your wife can push out 3
then you start to save for when you're an OAP
After all this you wonder why you're still not happy
coz you don't do your thinking its your society
you'll never have the balls to be what you want to be
happiness is not the be all and end all for me
its having friends and loving them that makes me want to breath
flush the pointless rat race down the lavatory
and never trust a politician, labour or tory
LIFE WON'T ALWAYS BE A FAIRYTALE STORY.
